I'm not going to profess to be an expert on house prices in Bristol.

But, similar properties around look more reasonable. The construction quality and interior of this house look poor. It was bought in 2017 for £300,000 and looks like the renovation was done pretty cheaply and the interior needs redoing.

Also - there are kitchen units in the toilet??

I don't think the starting price would motivate me to offer. At a pinch I'd probably pay £305,00? But, I think instead I'd try and strecth to something like https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-69934144.html which looks much nicer to me.

I might be missing some key local info here? Either that, or the list price is absurd.
  • I'm from Bristol and know the prices of the area pretty well and that price is just plain silly !

Stoke Gifford will attract workers from the MOD, Airbus etc due to its location and it's convenient proximity to Bristol Parkway - however, it borders the Bradley Stoke (Sadly Broke) district which is a pretty souless area, lots of little boxes in little cul de sacs !

Looking at 1/4 mile it seems to be the rate for a good size 4 bed, the one in the first post has a huge garden, and good size rooms for the most part.

Yes, there is a very strong likelihood that you are correct in thinking that IMO.

Let me google that for you.

The term 'BHK' basically refers to the configuration of a flat or an apartment. It is an acronym for 'Bedroom- Hall- Kitchen'. ... Now a day any Apartment is having with 1BHk,2bhk,3bhk and 4bhk .

Thank you, but I am actually capable of doing that. I just cba, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BHK wasn't a lot of use...

It appears to be a term used almost exclusively in the Indian property market, and doesn't even really apply to the 4BHLUK in question.

Why has the value gone up £130k in what looks like a not very desirable area?
