  • Happy Monday ladies x

Off to a smooth start as OH and I got most of the housework caught up yesterday, all washing done, ironing done, etc so should just be keeping on top of that today.

To do when I get home:
    - Wipe down kitchen sides
    - Wipe down bathroom sides/sinks
    - Make lunches for work for next two days

V cheerful today as I did some car insurance quotes last night and even with 2 accidents I got a quote for £650 for the year/£50 per month. Renewal with current co was over £2000 and £190 a month, with a black box! So so glad I looked :D

Thank you for all the lists.

    Been busy
    Machine walk done
Whole house hoovered, bagless thingy emptied
WM x 3 done all out on line
Been to volunteering for 3 hours
    Food shop done and away
    Lunch of toast eaten
-1 lb for this week....................it keeps going :)
Loads of other small boring stuff done.

SSDD23 it is always worth checking the web before buying anything, car ins / house ins/ white goods/ holidays etc etc there are often better deals around. As far as I am concerned any saving is better than no saving even if it is a £1 here and there it all adds up in the end.

    noendinsight Welcome x

    All wall cupboards scrubbed
    All worktops cleaned
    Toaster decrumbed

Dancepop’s bedding washed and line dried

i had to collect DP’s clean clothes from my aunt. DS2 didn’t want to go but can’t be left on his own. Eventually after smacking my arm several times and threatening me with a washing basket he relented. My sister collected DP’s clothes to take to him when visiting today. Over a sandwich we made a list of questions, opinions and worries for the hospital and my sister took it with her. Apparently the OT wasn’t happy with our thoughts. They are arranging a family meeting on the ward for Wednesday afternoon so hopefully DP will be kept in until a least then. He is a little more with it today. We are anxious about him going home and the social worker said we had valid concerns.

Can anyone point me in the direction of information on power of attorney as we have to look into them?

    Dance pm sent.

    Gardening done, weeds pulled out
    Washing in off line
Cat played with a piece of moss and had a wonderful game in the sun with it.
Dinner cooked but OH is on the phone to sky 'discussing' the amount they are charging, and offering to cancel his account if they don't reduce the fees, personally I really don't know why we have it, but he pays for it, I don't.

    Thanks for the lists.
    Welcome noendinsight

MIL is now in the care home for at least 2 weeks, so hopefully Mr N and I can catch up on our lives, flying and sleep. We have done the best we can for her. Now, by way of a change, I have 3 days to get the house in order before my Mum comes to stay!

Today I've actually felt really tired, so didn't go to zumba. However, I have nearly finished a report, done 3 things off our 'garden list', potted on a few seedlings and watered the rest of the greenhouse, rung 2 friends, done a bit of research for a new Freeview box as ours is playing up, made up the guest bed with clean sheets, done another load of washing........and I've fallen asleep twice!!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

No info dancemum on POA but do please do it and everyone else as the alternative is Deputyship and that is expensive and an absolute pain. :(

Thanks for the list and enjoy your new car Valli.

Morning everyone, I'm in. Yesterday was a full day at the paid stuff but I did get the bedding changed.

Today I'm only working a half day so this morning i need to catch up on dailies, go to the tip and collect something (not from the tip).

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
