It’s the MSE top deal. I’m unsure if sims are for either or if you have to get special ones just for iPads.

There used to be a deal where you bought an annual sim with about 20gb on it and used it as needed, anyone remember what that’s called?

Plusnet do not offer plans for tablets like the iPad.
They have mentioned this in their own community forum in the mobile section in the past.

Also if you read the "Legal Bit" section on the page linked to above, you will clearly see

Didn't Ofcom rule on this recently, that any data plan cannot discriminate between devices?

Hence why 3 has started allowing all its plans to be used in any device even including 4G routers.

There was an OFCOM investigation into 3 (and Vodafone) out of which 3 now allow any of their SIMs to be used in any device.

Do you want the SIM for data only or for making calls/text? That Plusnet SIM deal has unlimited minutes and texts, so isn't the best value option if you want data only.

On eBay, you can get a Three SIM with 12GB data for £14.29

I want a sim to put in my iPad, my use thus far (with o2) has been 3.5 per month.
My iPad is unlocked.

I’ve looked, theses seem to last a month. I only need about 4gb a month, so I don’t need to pay £14

I bought the same for my iPad a couple of years ago, cost £40.80 then but see its gone up to just over £42. I only bought it to use in an emergency as using cellular for streaming rather than wifi will use up your data in no time. It lasts for up to 2 years from the date you first use it, there is a cheaper 12 month option also available.
