    Soolin, What do you think?

I have copies of all info obtained from eBay, Paypal, Nominet, Companies House & Land Reg which has been used to compile the info.
  • Soolin.

I'm a courier newbie & used a name I'd picked up from these boards. home-textiles.

They were very quick to answer my questions before my purchase, picked up & delivered according to plan & responded straight away with my tracking numbers when I realized that in my ignorance I'd let the courier wander off with my parcels without getting the numbers from him.

Is there any form of organisation that monitors parcel delivery..is it worth going to them to see if they can mediate? This is not an area I am familiar with so am not sure where you go from here..but you obviously need to do something if they are still holding the parcels.

As for the info posted on this thread, I cannot see that it is in any breach of forum rules as all info posted is legally and readily available about any company.

Just one thought..is it worth going to the actual carrier as whilst they might be happy to lease their service via a third party they might be interested to have feedback if there is any danger that an unsatisfactory service might reflect badly on them.

Just wanted to check its not breaching any rules & its legal

I've got the Parcelforce Manager checking them out as the parcels have been sat in his office since Thursday.

It does seem like the original error was our fault but nothing has been done to resolve the problem

I’m sure you’re not trying to imply that DMS UK Ltd is trading as ParcelWizards, just that you’ve noticed strong links between them. Having an address or people in common doesn’t prevent Matthew Morris trading as a sole trader using the names
    • ParcelWizards.co.uk,
    • Cyris Media,
    • DMS and
    • Digital Media Solutions.
Provided proper accounts are kept that separate the limited company and Mr Morris trading as an individual and DMS UK Ltd never attempts to conceal its limited status when trading, there isn’t an inherent problem. Mr Morris may argue that the naming of the PayPal account used by ParcelWizards as “DMS UK Ltd” was an error or oversight.

That’s obviously wrong. If someone representing ParcelWizards is still reading this, you need to get it updated, otherwise I might feel an email to Nominet coming on.

All those different names. Very confusing, and certainly not confidence-inspiring. I do hope the suggestion that a telephone number had been submitted to eBay that was invalid because ParcelWizards didn’t even have a working telephone system isn’t true. If it were the case, that would suggest a deliberate deception.

  • Alfie,

You are spot on there. DMS UK LTD is a computer and website design business operating in West Wales, of which two of us from ParcelWizards.co.uk are directors. However, ParcelWizards.co.uk is an entirely independent business, currently not a limited company however shortly to acquire limited company status.

We did temporarily (and for only a few days at most) use the Paypal account of DMS UK LTD. This was due to the ParcelWizards Paypal account requiring an upgrade to a fully confirmed status. At no point were the Paypal funds paid to DMS UK LTD withdrawn to the DMS UK LTD bank account, the funds were transferred to the ParcelWizards.co.uk Paypal account after reverification and then withdrawn to the ParcelWizards bank account.

As for the Nominet issue, I thank you for bringing this to our attention. A mistake has obviously been made, as a website designer I am fully aware that a business is not able to have a Nominet whois opt out status under the terms and conditions of Nominet. I will bring this to the attention of our web hosters on Monday morning for immediate correction.

I have been referred to a number of posts about ParcelWizards.co.uk by a member of staff today. I would like to state that in no way is ParcelWizards.co.uk a "here today, gone tomorrow" business. We have indeed invested thousands of pounds into the creation of our business, and aim to become one of the largest services of this type in the UK. We will shortly be launching a telephone support line (Using an 0844 lo call rate number and a VOIP telephone system to keep costs down) and improving our email response times.

And finally, to the issue in hand. I believe that I have fairly and generously resolved the issue Mr Peters had cause to complain about originally. Whilst it is not for me to detail the methods of resolution, If Mr Peters would like to do so that is totally up to himself.

    Thank You.

Thank you Matthew for clearing up the status of your business, I've had a very good service from yourselves till Thursday when this problem occurred & that tied with your 3 x phone numbers being inactive or voicemail & no response on Friday to the many emails I sent I had no option but to start hunting for info.

I have always recommended your services & long may it continue albeit with better customer service.

This is the email sent directly to from Matthew Stroud
I would like to further apologize for the delay in our response to your queries and complaints. We have experienced much higher levels of email queries in the last few days, and will be looking into providing further email handling capacity as we hopefully expand our business.

I am happy to announce that we are currently having a Virtual PBX telephone system installed. Whilst we can only provide two members of staff to man the telephone system, we have plans to increase the telephone team as needed. The phone system will come into operation tomorrow evening, and for now we will provide the service at an 0844 lo call rate.

I also have our technical team working in conjunction with the service provider of our booking software to locate a solution to prevent the booking system accepting obviously incorrect details. We could possibly have this up and running within the next few days.

I hope that this email will satisfactorily resolve your issues with ParcelWizards, and invite you to reply directly to this email if you have any further concerns, complaints, queries, questions or suggestions.

    Yours Faithfully

It is a Genuine ParcelWizard as they've contacted me stating

As I've pointed out that DMS UK Ltd was the Business Name on one of their Paypal account & the same Name & address is used for eBay, all the Domain Names & Companies House info

The email you received from Parcel wizard is genuine but what are the chances that you post a Parcel Wizard query in a public forum and the first reply is a representative from parcel wizard.

As the OP appears to have resolved any outstanding issues with Parcel wizard I will close this thread.
