You can not prevent Google from using your personal information to send you targeted advertising despite them pointing you to 3 different settings to allegedly disable you being targeted using your personal data. The links are just posting lip service to data protection laws, neither of which work which is completely illegal

That said, unless I'm missing something if you select 'no personalisation' what difference does it actually make? Surely the adverts are still selected from Googles collection but just based on your browsing & shopping preferences?0 -
I never get any 'Targeted' or any other advertising from Google.....So, I'm not worried about it....

Like others say use adblockers.
In the grand scheme of things targeted ads make no difference, they are just ads, ignore them. I never will and will never ever click on a link in an advert ever!0 -

I agree, although I find it unnerving how quick the ads change based on history.
Adblockers are the way to go. DuckDuckGo also works fine.0
