Dear sunshine,I had posted a comment before I read to the end of the posts so hadn't read about you being poorly and losing your friend ,I've deleted it and am posting again as the previous post didn't take the whole situating into account

I am so sorry you are having such a tough time at the moment, take it one day at a time and try to look after yourself, you need lots of comfort at moments like this so be kind to yourself, take care, I do hope your test is negative ,do you have any vitamin C because I've heard high doses can help with recovery xxx

Thank you all, I managed to sleep until 7.00am from around 2.30am.

No result yet, I am hoping that's because it's negative .
I spoke to my friends husband on the phone, he got all upset, I said to him it's the shock.
The funeral is pencilled in for the 22nd May and he wants me to go up a couple of days before . I will see what Boris has to say on Sunday , I am sure I will be able to attend.
In myself I feel a lot better today and as off 6pm my temp was nearly normal , the cough is still there but I feel so much better. All these things that keep happening are making me realise you need to live everyday to the full , you never know what's around the corner .

Aww SSG2 sounds like a tough day. Sorry about your MiL. Glad you had your colleague to help and your walk helped too. Walks always help don't they? Have a relaxing evening :)

No news is good news 🤞 I’m pleased you’re feeling better. Please rest and take care of yourself though. Your body can’t be fighting infections, dealing with grief and working too much. Listen it it and let it rest if need be. Lecture over ❤️ Like you say it makes us realise how we need to make every day count 👍

Covid test came back negative , huge relief. Went shopping as haven't been out for 5 days . Did a 3 mile walk and have then been sat out all afternoon in the garden having socially distanced afternoon tea with neighbours . A lovely day in the sun, just what I needed .
Hope everyone has had a good day
