I have got to admit I have been feeling pretty fed up this week, lockdownitis. Living on my own has really got to me for the first time since the pandemic started . I have lots to be thankful for though , so no idea why it had got to me so much. Anyway on Monday I realised I had today booked off to meet my oldest friend for a walk and lunch on a bench. The weather last night was dire , but today it was fine. We managed an hours walk and then 2 hours on a bench in the countryside and didn't see a single person . The world is now put to right , and it was just what was needed to lift my spirits . I feel like I have been on a big adventure . I did have a lovely call as ever with an MSE friend last night so hopefully that's the feeling sorry for myself over.Just to add to the joy my dad has shingles , is in pain but was still painting bannisters when I FaceTimed before 😂.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Love the new sofa and chair,I was also thinking I might go for grey next time I buy any furniture. I keep thinking about all the people living on their own during lockdown as it must be hard. I've been so lucky having DD2 still living here 😊 what is your dad like still doing diy when he's poorly 🙄😀 my dad had shingles all round his eye and on his head several years ago now and was really ill, he still gets pain from it nowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202

I know what you mean Sun. I feel a lot like it is all work and no play at the minute and with me being alone too once DD has gone to bed there isn't much for me to do so I tend to just take myself off to bed and relax.
