Back home now after a pleasant few days away.
Payday today so have spent sometime moving money around to various pots. I had a £10 credit on my sparks account , so have ordered some new underwear. Cost me £6.00 . Have bought a gift card for £25 to go to the friends who put me up as a thank you. Needed a card for Australia, have had to moonpig it , as it is very soon the birthday. Also have £7.47 in PA trying to get that to £10. Have around £12 in TC . Will be using it all this month as extra income, have a trip to jersey and a big birthday for a relative to pay for. I checked my credit card today and it is down to £2520 . The lowest it's been in a long time. I have bought my premium bonds again today, thanks to Hairy .
Nothing planned for weekend , apart from shopping and ironing.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Last year I took all the chargers out and put them in a carrier bag and threw them on top of our wardrobe with the intention that if they were still there untouched after a year they could be binned - a couple of days later DH asked me where his charger cable was for his bike lights was :eek: was very puzzled when I said probably on top of our wardrobe
:D. I also did the same with all the loose keys that were lying in the drawer too! Xx
I missed your post BY50 , the cables were indeed decluttered, out of my drawers , straight into my dads shed. Don't ask , it's like an Aladdin's cave of junk. Your charger story is funny .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
Shopping today £2.15 over budget, blame it on Aldi. They had some gluten free biscuits in and they are very nice £1.15 . I also bought a magazine for once 90p . Not so bad in the grand scheme of things. I allow £30 weekly for shopping , this week I got more gluten free items from Aldi as well as the biscuits . Tomorrow I need petrol , and to double check my accounts .
My fridge is full of healthy food this week, I am usually very good with fruit but have failed on veg recently. Tonight's tea is steamed veg and rice topped with grated cheese.
Eurovision tonight , may have a little look.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
That sounds like a very healthy meal Sunshine
.
It is really hard not to overspend when food shopping, especially when all the prices seem to be going up.
