We returned back to UK via Thos Cook after Jet Airways ( Booked via Tickets To India UK ATOL bonded ) cancelled our return flight from Goa to Manchester. Jet advised me I would get a refund after approx 2 weeks which duly happened last week, I received £10003 CREDITED and CLEARED to my bank which I was delighted at as our Thos Cook return flight cost us £704!
Last Saturday Tickets To India rang me to say they had made an error and our refund SHOULD have been just £422 thus leaving me some £280 out of pocket and could I return the balance sum approx £580!
What are my legal l rights for A; Keeping ALL the money?
Or B; returning the balance sum to Jet of approx £297

I have tried calling ATOL and its just pre recorded information so I have emailed them of my situation
Any advice on my legal obligations please as Jet are due to ring me, but I WIL, advise them I am seeking ATOL advice first

Well I assume you have put an extra 0 in your total, but given it was an agent who booked them, I would return them the £297. The agent hasnt gone under, the airline has.

As for the rest, you can easily prove you are owed it if they ever took you to court.

ATOL phone numbers useless just different numbers to press to get ALL pre - recorded info no relevance to my situ and NO HUMANS to speak to ��
