Portable electric scrubber

Options
Iv'e honestly tried various spray cleaners including scourers cloths tooth brushes baking soda etc.
Yet after my bathroom emergancy insurance failing to replace wall tiles a few years earlier I have given up trying to achieve clean white grouting.
Have since been reading mse car section when there's talk of pressure washers.
What I'de like to know is are the from 50 pounds approx upto hundreds home electric scrubbers a decent investment for cleaning grout and bathroom wall tiles.
I mean cleaner such as Karcher etc.
P.s. limited mobility with m.s. doesn't help as I don't' have manual strength I once had
Maybe an electrical scrubber could be the answer
Thanks!!

I assume that you're thinking of the sort of pressure washers that people use on cars, patios and the like.

If you try to use one of those indoors, then you will end up with water everywhere. They spray out quite a bit of water at high pressure, and it will splash back again with some force.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Thanks that's not what I intended.

That electric scrubber with some existing multiple spray cleaners direct onto tiles and grouting then use electric scrubber.
I asked via mse as I don't want to buy the scrubber if it doesn't have the strength to clean the nasty part coloured white grouting.
I seen it this evening thankfully it's only two bathroom walls one bath length one bath breadth.

Scrape all the old grout out and regrout
    Or
    Pay someone to do it
    Or
    Use a white grout pen

You will never get grout clean to a good standard
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

    Agree with McKneff's advice.

I have used a full size pressure washer on wall and floor tiles (changing rooms/ communal showers/ poolside in a fitness centre). Whilst it lifted some of the body fat (sebum) and ingrained grime, the pressure washer was not the complete solution even when done every week.

After getting your grout white again, maintain with a strong detergent solution (liquid sugar soap) and/ or a mould and mildew killer spray (alkaline) and/ or a descaler (acidic). You may need to rotate through different products in different weeks to get and maintain the best results.

Never found any of the bathroom spray cleaners to be that impressive.

    HTH!

    Thanks for advice.
I don't have any chance to scrape and re grout myself.
Maybe need to add to tradesman requests for this year.
Kitchen floor 1st then bathroom grouting.
The best of multiple cleaners I did manage to try was Cillit Bang black mould remover at least that made a decent start after my bath was leaking etc before being replaced.

Two inexpensive starters before tradesman re grouting late summer .
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grout-Pen-White-Restores-Water-Based/dp/B006LMFJS4
    And
    https://www.homebase.co.uk/ronseal-grout-cleaner-100ml_p297301

This could help as It is only two walls that have some darker type mould.
Other walls just need cleaning though with very limited mobility and little strength in both hands that's why I thought maybe the electric scrubber could help.

Ingrained grime on floor grout or the surface of textured tiles is often residual unclean water after mopping. Each wet-dry cycle a miniscule amount of dirt is left behind. Hand washing and hand drying rather than mopping is effective at reducing this IME.

Appreciate hand washing on your knees might be impossible for you but, if you get PIP/ disability benefits, you might work in a periodic professional 'deep clean'? They might even do the grout whitener for you.

    HTH. :)

I got my black grout back to white with some cheap thin bleach and cotton wool. Dip small strips of cotton wool in the bleach and apply to the grout, leave overnight then remove and rinse. Ideal for lazy cheapskates!:rotfl:
