Sounds good Gers I know from when I was caring for my Mum that you need time for you as well, otherwise it gets very overwhelming.

Glad that the birthday girl has had such a nice day :)

Happy Birthday Dumpling and I am glad everyone is spoiling you a bit.

    Gers

Take the chance to do something for yourself while your mother is being looked after. You need a break and a breather.

Someone came round this morning to look at the fence as the previous owner had been jamming bits of metal at the bottom and it does not look very safe. He is going to send me a quote to replace it properly which should make a real difference to the look of the house and garden and be safer as well.

I think my youngest might be coming over this weekend as middle dd wants to visit a Wedding Fayre so have a grocery delivery coming tomorrow afternoon with plenty of fruit and veg and some lactose free milk. Must try to be sensible and have an early night as dd arrives around 7.30 a.m. tomorrow and I want to be up and dressed and not half asleep.

    Hugs to all
