Using a PPI Company, for ONLY Searching if you have PPI

They have upto 8 weeks to investigate and respond to your complaint... likely quicker than this but it depends how many complaints there are in front of you in the queue.

OP was asking about the time taken to answer an enquiry about possible PPI, not the time allowed for an actual complaint.
