were these unique one-off items or items that the company carries as stock? If I go in and order a spade for delivery next week, I am fully aware it may not be the exact spade from the store, it could be delivered from a depot where they have loads of the spades. If someone went into the shop before mine was due to be delivered and wanted to buy one, I don't see the problem with the store selling that one as long as the delivery of mine on x date is not impacted.nanny_beach wrote: »Hubby said they should contact seond party tell them the goods were already ours because we had paid for them
Did they actually tell you that they had sold the item and you would not be getting it delivered? or was your delivery going to be made exactly as you had requested? (and this was just a bit of an overreaction)0
