What day will you expect it to land in your account? I hope you’re right because not all staff are working from home as only hmrc computers can issue payment, people working From home can check over your return they cannot issue it. Also they are trained to lie and get you off phone basically tell us anything.

Brothers wife works for hmrc she says (bank repayment pending) means you still need security checked and Will wait weeks due to covid. All I want is my hard earned cash BACK. How can I wire somebody cash it takes 1 min yet it takes  hmrc 1 month. Shocking

Guys it’s the same every year, 10 working days!! So from the 6th is the 16th, plus 2 bank holidays the 18th, so it’ll most likely go from payment pending to issued either tomorrow morning and paid Friday or Saturdays update and paid Monday. It will always say pending payment until it’s issued. The repayment process is also automated which means little human interaction unless your case is flagged then it’ll need human interaction. Hope that helps.
  • Yeah I reckon before Monday, mine was on the 6th so should be by 18th
