Hey!!!! You say Your status changed Today from pending to Issued???? I submitted My Tax return on the 9th May, It went to pending on Tues 14th May and like Yourself it changed to Issued Today.... But I normally get a message confirming the payment will be made from Hmrc, have You had the message????

Hi my account said processing on monday morning, no change yesterday, today it says payment 23rd!

does anyone know if that means it will it be in my account at midnight tonight/tom morning?

no update still still pending.
the security checks are taking the p*** to be fair been summited since 8th of April

Hmrc amended my payment as there were mistakes on my return. They cancelled my rebate and said I still owe £2000 in tax. I have had my letter from them and it appears that the payroll company that pays me has told them that I have only paid £105 tax in the last year. I now have to respond to hmrc in writing.

I don' t understand why I have to wait until 8th july. They said I am on security check. They didn't explain why or if there is a problem in my application.

repayment claims are selected for security checks on a random basis, by the computer. Or the computer may have picked up a discrepancy in the return such as some of the cases in above threads.

The return goes into a queue and is dealt with in order so it depends on how many are in front of you in the queue and how long it takes to check each one.

What you are given is a best estimate date for it to be dealt with.

You just need to have patience as it will take as long as it takes.
