Sky Tablet monthly deal

So I'm looking at this sky deal for an ipad pro 11 inch with swap36 and I'm not entirely sure how it works. I spoke to one of the sky experts but they didn't explain it very well or understand me as english wasn't their first language so I'm wondering if someone here understands it or has it.

Does the swap 36 mean I pay for the first 3 years of the contract then move to a different contract for a new ipad after handing in the old one, or does it mean I get a new ipad after 3 years and handing in the old one and then the contract finishes as normal? If its the latter one does that mean I then have to pay off the new ipad or do I get to keep it?

I'm also not sure if I'm able to get the ipad without a data plan? And I'm also not sure what the 'swap option price' means on the price breakdown.
