Hi, forms were submitted about a month ago to obtain probate. Once probate is granted what are the next steps regarding account balances etc. There are a couple of properties involved and these will not be sold and continue to be rented, I guess that’s just a case of transferring ownership?
Thanks
Thanks

Both properties are fully insured. One under the freeholders building insurance and the other house is currently insured as ‘executor of...’,
So is it a case of a solicitor transferring ownership and myself writing to all of the banks to transfer ownership of accounts and settle any debts. I am the sole beneficiary. Thanks0 -
Are the banks local?
I found it easier to visit each branch armed with the will and probate docs and either sort it there and then or make an appointment with the appropriate person.0 -
