Next steps post probate

Options
Hi, forms were submitted about a month ago to obtain probate. Once probate is granted what are the next steps regarding account balances etc. There are a couple of properties involved and these will not be sold and continue to be rented, I guess that’s just a case of transferring ownership?

Thanks

You need to ensure the properties are full insured and you comply with all legal aspects of being landlords long term. Are you sure you can’t to do this?

Both properties are fully insured. One under the freeholders building insurance and the other house is currently insured as ‘executor of...’,

So is it a case of a solicitor transferring ownership and myself writing to all of the banks to transfer ownership of accounts and settle any debts. I am the sole beneficiary. Thanks

    Are the banks local?

I found it easier to visit each branch armed with the will and probate docs and either sort it there and then or make an appointment with the appropriate person.

Do the executors and trustees have landlord insurance? Otdinaty house cover is no sufficient.
