Im Vermin Media and they are really peeing me off, nothing but slow speeds, 66kb last night, i rang the 0906 number and they said they would raise it with bt.
i thought that i could claim the phone charge back as it is a fault with them, i rang customer service and they just said 'NO' and that was it.
it is adsl.
Any one know anything about this ?
Thanks lee

Sounds like it is a fault with the BT element of the line from what you have said?
The 0906 number is a part of the package that you signed up to, therefore unless they have kept you on the phone for an excessively long time, you have no right to refund.Gone ... or have I?0 -
hi mate, thank for helping.
i didnt sign up to this 0906 business, they bought it in after i had been with them for a couple of months.
Anyone else know anything about it.
ive seen threads with people saying they have claimed money back.0 -

I cannot connect to virgin broadband from last night and have had to hook up 56k modem to get online. I had to phone 0906 yesterday and complained that I didnt have a technical fault - it was Virgin so I asked him to phone me back but he said they would refund the call costs. Depend on who you speak to but as far as signing up for 0906 - yes if you have to ask stupid questions but you should not be charged for reporting slow speeds and no ADSL.
In all my time with a BT line I have never had a fault only had problems after signing up with Virgin.

When I called this 0906 number after a having no internet for 14hrs, I was on to them for 8mins and then they said "Oh its a technical fault at our side" I said ok nwo arrange for it to be fixed and can you make sure that I am refunded for the Privilege of having faulty internet connection at your error..... He went on for a few more seconds and said OK I will refund it for you. He refunded x.xx amount, I then called CS and explained to them that VM are ripping people off when its not even a fault of there own...... She rambled on while and then agreed to refund another £10 to me as a gesture of goodwill.
So get on the phone to them and tell themIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
I have rang them twice due to a fault on their side and both times without me mentioning it (although I was obviously unhappy with them) they said the call would be refunded. It may be because I am on all 3..phoneline, TV and broadband though?0
