    It's a £2 monthly fee but a £7 reward, hence £5 net:

You can open a Danske Bank account from mainland UK but the process is convoluted and slow, involving a telephone interview and lots of back and forth snail mail

I am forced to leave the country of residence, outside EU and return to the UK following local immigration financial requirements.
    a) No UK property nor do I have a bank/building society in the UK into which to pay any funds before the date of return.
    i) My UK government state pension is paid every 4 weeks in local currency in to a local foreign bank.
    b) No UK address or utility bills and having problems in finding a UK bank/bld society who will allow me to open an account to accept my government pension payments or any other in payments.
    c) No relations or close friends in the UK which could accept monies on my behalf.
    d) When the family arrives we are going to need access to funds in Sterling to live.
    e) Every reader will appreciate the plummeting exchange rates affecting ex pats whose frozen pensions are losing too much value now.
