  • Shaggy the spicy Seedlip is really nice. Not tried the other one.

AF beers: my faves are Becks Blue, Ghost Ship and Nanny State. Budweiser and Freedam also fine. The lager-style or IPA ones seem to be more reliable, the beery ones (looking at you, St Peters and Speckled Hen) just taste like a mash barrel. The only one I've been physically unable to stomach is Cobra 0%. Vile.

    10/25 and 5/5 for me :)

That is interesting Glenda, because I initially liked the Nanny State because of its hoppy flavours, then thought it tasted too grapefruity, a bit sour. I will have to try the Ghost Ship.
I want something crisp and refreshing, not malty or sweet - I don't have a sweet tooth.

It's smiley day for me for last night, third one of the year. 7/19 and 3/4 for the SNC.

Re the perennial what to drink problems I find a bitter lemon or a tomato juice can be helpful if available. Otherwise it's usually tonic or sparkling water for me.

Shame we can't have a seedlip party to tr6 it, like everyone I looked at the cost and huge bottle and haven't risked it.
  • Lovely sunny day. Makes my head feel better. Thank you for the advice everyone. It didn't go to plan. We got there a bit late and a bottle of wine was waiting for us. We won the quiz though :j £20 hardly a fortune but we will save it for our Christmas outing. It will be the chip shop if we don't win any more. My DS4 is in our quiz team too and he was most impressed when I knew who won the FA cup in 1976! Showing my age.

I am a bit lost on my afds but Shaggy I have done Sun, Mon, Tues and tonight for the snc so 4and I think 6/16 Gym night tonight, so calling in early. Might go early around tea time as OH off out again. I can catch up on the Victim then before the last one later with my knitting, rock n roll. Weigh was bad, put on 1.5 so need to be :A this week.

Like the look of the M&S alc free gin drink. Have tried Seedlip but wasn't that fussed with it but good if you want something savoury.
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.
