Thank you cathybird. My eye is improving but I had a detached retina repaired in January and the gas bubble was put in to keep it in place. It should have dispersed by now but there is still a lot left so the hospital forbade flying. I'll rearrange my holiday for later in the year. X

Oh I see, that sounds less awful, so that's good! Hope it all disperses soon so you can go on holiday later in the year without any worries. x

12 for me today, once again I've forgotten if I set a target and if I did, what it is! I shall try for 20 and hope that I exceed that. I've been in a bit of a meh mood recently and that normally leads to excess boozing for me, so trying very hard not to go down that road.

I don't know what's happening this week. We're meant to be at a black tie  event on Thursday so not planning to be AF but I fully expect it could be cancelled. But that's Thursday. Today is AF.

Good morning everyone,

My 50th birthday trip to NYC will no longer be going ahead.  I am waiting for the time being before contacting virgin as they will only deal with people due to travel within 72 hours.  I hope that we get a refund, but I have travel insurance and it was paid via credit card, so hopefully I will get some money back from somewhere. My best friend lives in Majorca and she employs 15 people in a small company, she's really worried as they are not allowed to work (Marine maintenance company).  She's hoping that the lockdown only lasts 14 days.  We live in strange times.
