I so wish I'd called Security and sworn at ?him very, very loudly but I just told ?him to go away, that I wasn't going to open the door no matter how the tapping went on. It could have been a genuine error, but I doubt it. Makes one a bit jumpy, I found, on top of the coffee.
That is extremely weirdIt can't have been someone who thought it was their own room or you wouldn't knock! Even if you thought your other half or whoever was in the room you wouldn't just knock for 10 minutes, you'd call. Very odd. I think I would have found that unsettling too

2/20 for May and 5/5 for snc please Shaggy. X0

2/10 and 3/4 SNC please.
Well done Marahouti and for anyone whose proof reading is better than mine, I meant a trial rather than a trail of giving up caffeine! Quite funny o think of bits of caffeine lying behind you after drinking decaf coffee.
Have a good weekend everyone. I am aiming to drink 2 nights but will try for 5SNC from 05/050 -
Morning all, 2/21 for me today thanks0

5/4 SNC - I didn't drink on my birthday as I had planned, did I really miss it? No.
2/26 May
Can I go for 2 for the WEC please Shaggy?
Have set myself a mini target of getting to Tues AF as I will be 50 days AF at that point. It is so much easier for me to stop altogether after the first 4-6 weeks (I find it extremely challenging for that first few weeks). So I still haven't made a decision about introducing alcohol again.
I find it fascinating that we have such a diverse group of alcohol drinkers/non drinkers on this forum. And it's great that all is acceptable and that the only requirement is an attempt to control/monitor intake.0 -
3/25 AFDs today0

It was. I'd booked in to a modern hotel basically because the security is better, and always double-lock the door so I wasn't worried, just unsettled by it.Green_Karen wrote: »I find it fascinating that we have such a diverse group of alcohol drinkers/non drinkers on this forum. Me too! I think that's why it works so well and why I love it!
67.5 kgs. Makes no sense at all, but I'm not arguing with the scales.
3/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
3/28, please Shaggy. Really tired so I'm off to bed!0

3/20 please Shaggy, but that may be it until next week. I have a couple of planned drinking days this weekend as I am meeting a group of old friends. I am going to try to be moderate but that may be difficult, one of our number can't join us for dinner so we are meeting at about 5pm to catch up with her news. I have tried to suggest coffee or tea but have been over-ruled; we are going to meet in a pub for some drinks and then, when she leaves, on to the restaurant where no doubt many bottles of wine will be consumed. I'm really looking forward to seeing them but a bit apprehensive; apart from anything else I think my tolerance for alcohol has diminished.0

Maman I drink decaf tea from 6pm onwards and cant tell the difference.
Good luck Marahouti for this weekend. I can relate to all you say.
I’m 3/30. I’ve found the first 3 days quite easy. Won’t get complacent though.
I have found this webpage very interesting and helpful. I feel pleased that I have little of the suggested symptoms.
