Glad you found going to AA useful loveasale. I think it can be useful to have a plan and do something practical. We all need some order/routine. That's probably one of the reasons why the thread is so helpful. :)

I heard a trailer on the radio about a new podcast called Hooked that deals with addiction. I know many of you find reading/hearing about others' journeys useful.

    No drinking here today.

    9/10 AFDs please Shaggy
  • I’m not really sure I think the AA will be a long standing part of my life ,, lady I sat next has been going for 29 years , and been sober since the first meeting !
But I felt I had ACT QUICK and make a start on my future !

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
