FYI
GiffGaff are putting up prices of their smaller goodybag packages and increasing their pure PAYG data /MB prices.
The "sweetner in the the pill to be swallowed" is in the form of increased minutes allowances - which is next to useless for virtually everyone. Most certainly GG know this and that it will cost them nowt in their wholesale costs to provide the extra (unused) minutes.

Here is the link to the forum announcement from them and the rest of the thread is an unbelievable 147 pages of outrage from subscribers - in just one day.

...and while I've been writing this post it's now increased to 148 pages of outrage.....

Problem is the friends who get free goffgaff to gifffgaff calls...
  • Certainly quite disappointing.
When I last looked a while ago, there were 96 pages of disgruntled comments on the members' forum.
Looks like it will all go brilliantly !!
GG pay out their 'Payback' to members for the last 6 months in early June; I would imagine there will be quite a number leaving then!

Also tried different phones and same problems.
Funny thing was that my son was with Tesco which is part of O2 the same as GG and Sky hes phone was working fine.

Does anyone know if you can get a PAC and transfer your number from giffgaff to o2? Since their main brand's (o2) payg tariff is much more competive.
