Ensure you have enough witnesses , so if in doubt put 3 , doesn't matter if it's less than 3 , it is an arbitrary number , so better to be higher than lower , so put 3 , even if it's 2 or 1

Your local civil county court is the usual venue , Google it

Email the completed form to the CCBC , same email address as before

The newbies FAQ sticky thread has advice on this stage , plus other stages too

If they arent attending court, their WS can be treated as hearsay - if this happens deal with it on the day. You can of course do the same to their WS, when the actual person writing it WONT be there either...

I am a bit confused about the status of this case and wanted some advice. Here is a timeline of events:

29/06: Letter received from HM Courts & Tribunal Service acknowledging receipt of defence
27/07: Letter from QDR confirming intention to proceed with the claim
28/07: Notice of Proposed Allocation to Small Claims Track from CCBC with directions questionnaire (Form N180) to be completed by 14/08
07/08: Letter from QDR with completed Directions Questionnaire on behalf of One Parking Solution
12/08: Another letter from QDR with the same completed Directions Questionnaire on behalf of One Parking Solution
14/08: Letter from QDR with an enclosed notice of discontinuance signed by an S. Leering.

Does this mean this is all over?!

Well it was only dated Friday and a week-end was in between.  Did you complete your DQ in time, just in case it is not actually discontinued?
  • Yes, DQ all done.

Thanks - and well done, you won!

Why not email that to the court clerk and ask if the court has their copy yet because the hearing needs to be vacated.
