Lloyds Bank Advert

I don't get the Lloyds Bank ad currently running on TV. The one about the reluctance to discuss the "M word" with your family.
What business is it of Lloyds, or any bank, whether I discuss my financial affairs with my family?

Guess they don't have enough confidence in their products to make a meaningful advert.0

As an absolute outside guess, and I need to guess as the advert is so obscure, that being more open about your financial affairs could possibly help those around you see if you're in trouble or see if you've made a really bad financial decision and chip in to flag it up. (Either being outright scammed, or simply if you've opened a Lloyds cash ISA saver).(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0

Ridiculous advert as it is, I do find it preferable to the awful ones which Nationwide insist on inflicting on the general public; the dreadful poetry, the flat singing and the "friends"ones, which quite frankly make me feel nauseous.
A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.0 -

Just be grateful they don't have a 'Celebrity' endorsing it. I like the horses on the beach.0
