Flight cancelled twice

Hi can anyone tell me if I am entitled to two lots of compensation. Due to fly on 21st, flight took off but had to land due to a technical fault. Flight rebooked for 22nd, this flight was then cancelled due to flight crew being out of hours. We have received one offer of compensation in line with the EU regs but am querying a second compensation due to second flight cancellation?finally arrived home on 23rd.

Assuming the cancellations are both due to non-extraordinary circumstances then it's two different compensatable events and you should be due compo x 2.

Thanks for the reply. I was advised by the CAA that this should be the case but the airline has referred me to CEDR who want £20 to adjudicate!

You'll get the fee refunded if CEDR sides with you ( and anecdotal evidence suggests it is sometimes refunded if they don't). Check out the interpretive guidelines for EU261, they address your situation I believe.
