I guess if you like / are content to sleep in a water saturated atmosphere, then YOU would be welcome to do so. We weren't (I value my well being / health higher than that),
Well if there was no dehumidifier, fan or such, and insufficient ventilation, so likelihood of prolonged dampness, then I can understand your being unable to continue.

Re "I cannot imagine any circumstances where the cruise company would refund the entire cost of the cruise."

Well, from my limited research I found that in a similar circumstance :
"Carnival Cruises said passengers affected would get full refunds, a 50 per cent credit for a future cruise, and could be flown home before the end of the cruise."

I tried to post the same?? video from the Daily Telegraph website, but I was blocked. Frankly I find your "Crocodile Dundee-esque" statement ..... "that's not a flood, this is a flood" to be as a helpful as a chocolate teapot.

I don't see why you should get the cost of the whole cruise refunded when presumably you received the first few days of your cruise until the flood

My apologies if you are comparing a wet floor that was cleaned up within hours to the incident I posted. Each to their own.
