Using tesco points to 'reactivate' virgin club points

Hey there,
My virgin miles club points are about to expire as i haven't added to them for the past 36 months.
Is there any chance I can convert £2.50 of my points to miles, and add this to my account? will this re-trigger the activation of my account and last another 36 months?
Just checking if anyone knows.
Cheers,
Jake

I did exactly this on my daughters Virgin FFC account a couple of years ago. It was certainly OK to do then.0

Yes that works, but there can be a delay between conversion and them appearing on your account. If you’ve got a few days to spare you’ll be fine. If not you might want to consider buying a few which will credit instantly. Depends how many you’ve got in your account to lose.Legal team on standby0
