Won a 3 night trip with Heart Radio and was told I could not win with them again for 6 months,so fairly common I think.

Heart are part of the Global Group who have slightly different restrictions to Bauer, Talksport who are part of the Wireless group are different again, as are the Nation Radio group (The Celador group and Lincs FM were also different until Bauer took over their 30+ licences earlier this year).

Just while we're on this subject, has anyone ever won the cash competitions with Bauer more than once (after the six-month disqualification period)?
I once won £2000 with Rock FM a good few years ago now, but I'm wondering if even though I'm technically eligible to win with Bauer again, if they have some sort of blacklist where they won't allow a second win? Or am I just overthinking things?!

I'd go with "overthinking", it really doesn't make any difference to them - if they thought 6 months was not long enough they could make it 12 months or anytime they liked including never again.

(The group Talksport are in have a 12 month ban from all their sites after a win of any size - so a CD win on one of their local stations knocks you out from the whole group for a year - Nation radio also have a 12 month ban for £500 plus wins)

I know I'm rubbish at stuff like this, but for what it's worth, I would also go with the 'overthinking it' thing. Apart from anything else, they would be breaking the law if they say it's a 6-month ban, and then ban you for longer. I'm sure a prestigious company like Bauer wouldn't risk that.

Is Hearst part of Bauer as i won a prize over £500 from House Beautiful and it's part of Hearst media. I can't find anything telling me a prize limit.

I was also wondering about Hearst and also TI Media which are the other daily mags. I can't see anything on their sites. Does anyone know?

Hearst are an international group themselves and not part of Bauer Media

I have not seen a prize limit mentioned in the general or competition T&Cs on Hearst or TI Media so presume there isn't one.

I was lucky enough to win cheque for £750 from Bauer and nothing was mentioned about prize limit so i emailed someone from Bauer asking as ive won over £500 can i still enter for under £500 ones or was i excluded from all.

    Reply i got was:

That is correct, they are not able to win a further prize in any bauer competition WORTH £500 OR MORE. This means you can enter the bulk of our competitions and win prizes through them but are disqualified for 6 months from winning our bigger cash prizes or holiday prizes. This is to ensure the major prizes are distributed as widely as possibly amongst our readers.
