They set me up without permission. This practice needs to stop. Next pay letter received falsely "claims" I signed a Credit Agreement at 1am in the morning whilst I was asleep. They have sent me a credit agreement in a mixture of my christian name and my wifes middle names. Shops have been closed for 3 months, so couldnt have agreed over the counter- I have never had a store card - Never purchased from Next or any retail online either - so what gives them the right to set these agreements up without consent or permission?
I do not accept its" just a phone call to cancel" It should never be done in the 1st place
How/why would Next use a mixture of yours and your wife's names? Does anyone else have access to your PC, phone etc? That sounds more like either you've been hacked, or someone you know or with access to your devices could have done it.

If you've never purchased anything from them - then it sounds like you have had a potential fraudulent account set up by someone (Not a Next employee) - as mentioned get in touch with them and tell them you haven't opened an account, and get into your three main credit reference files asap to look for any unusual activity. It's possible you might have been the victim of an ID fraud. (Assuming there's nobody in your family home that might have made the application)

Next Pay comes as 'standard' with the Next directory at the Next site - The card is not an additional line of credit so it will not have any additional impact on a credit profile, although the primary Next Pay account will be shown. Nobody sends out speculative credit or store cards these days. More likely is that an application was made without fully realising what was being applied for or as noted above, a fraudulent application has been made
