    No !!!
Who do you think you are ?
    The forums police.... ?

Not the forum police, maybe just someone who doesn't think it fair to accuse a company of ripping people off simply because you failed to check facts first.

Not at all. It was just a suggestion.
Who do I think I am?
I'm just someone who doesn't like to see anyone or any company accused of something they're not guilty of - I have a particular dislike of the words con, scam or rip-off when it's nothing of the sort.

As I've said before, there are lots of reasons to slate Sportsdirect, you just happened to make a mistake.

Actually, on 2nd thoughts, I'd leave the thread title as it is.
It says more about you than it does about Sportsdirect.

On the bright side, your £4.99 has gone towards the wages of Miguel Almiron :D
I think the OP declined to do business with Sportsdirect because of the alleged delivery 'rip-off':

Do you know of any other store that tries to charge buyers £4.99 to deliver to their own store ?
I was looking for a specific item - that Sports direct doesn't have in stock locally - but lists on line, and surprise, surprise - if I pay £4.99 - they can get it delivered to their store......
    No Thanks
So someone else will have to put up the £4.99 to pay Miguel Almiron's wages (whoever he is).
