Sports Direct - rip off

Do you know of any other store that tries to charge buyers £4.99 to deliver to their own store ?
I was looking for a specific item - that Sports direct doesn't have in stock locally - but lists on line, and surprise, surprise - if I pay £4.99 - they can get it delivered to their store......
No Thanks

Sports direct charge £4.99 full stop.
And from their help page
"Every time you use our Click & Collect delivery service and collect your parcel from our own stores, you'll receive a £5 voucher to spend in store, you'll be given your voucher by our store staff when you collect your parcel."

If you don't like a shop's policies, you are at liberty to give your custom to another store.
I sometimes buy online from Sportsdirect and have the order delivered to store as I find it more convenient than waiting for home delivery - but only when I'm 100% sure that I won't need to return as I don't like their returns policy.
I don't mind the £5.00 voucher as it has a very long expiry date and there is usually something in store that I want. OH goes through golf umbrellas like a dose of salts.
Like most posts alleging con, scam or rip-off, I can see no rip-off here.0 -

I don't see any rip off, most stores charge for delivery, if you are happy to pay for delivery to your home then why not to an alternative address.
I always chose a store delivery, its easier when you work you don't have the inconvenience of asking a neighbour to take in the parcel and can collect at your leisure.
Sport direct you get a voucher for the postage charge back.0 -
I hadn't realised that you got a voucher !0
