Elderly parents moving in
Comments

There are a couple of alarm bells ringing for me.
Firstly the possibility of her making major decisions - like moving them in - without consulting you. All major decisions should be discussed in a relationship.
Secondly having coped with some elderly issues recently you need to be careful what you are taking on.
Will they be entitled to state care here.
What about when they need assistance of 2 people?
I don’t know their issue but if dimensia is involved what happens if they ascuse you of stealing (often happens when they forget where they’ve put things). These issues are extremely hard for people who are emotionally involved to cope with.
I can see her point of view but it doesn’t like she’s consider you or your relationship.0 -
OP, I am from one of the EU states.
Which country exactly are they from?0
