Hi guys hope you can help and provide advice!
Ordered 6 tickets for drake from ticketmaster next week for me and work friends to go but we could not go so sold 4 via fan to fan exchange on ticketmaster and 2 on stubhub for face value.
The 4 tickets were sold to 3 buyers,2 in the Uk (2 tickets and 1 ticket), one in norway (1 ticket purchase). The tickets have been delivered to the UK buyers direct but ticketmaster could not supply me with a uk address for the last buyer (who was from norway) so they asked me to ship it by special delivery to their london office ( I assume they will sort collection out with the buyer from norway). I shipped the ticket friday by special delivery saturday service but it was not delivered/signed for.
Royal website states - 'Sorry, we tried to deliver your parcel on 30-03-2019 but there didn’t seem to be anyone in.'
Moreover yesterday 6 more tickets came from Ticketmaster for the same date (all standing tickets again), with the reference number of the seats of the old order crossed out and new numbers written on the Ticketmaster reference slip (they are standing tickets anyway but the GA number is different to the old ones).
1. Has anyone had two sets of the same tickets before sent by Ticketmaster, was this a mistake?
2. Have the original set of tickets I sent to the buyers been cancelled and these new ones become valid.
3. What do I do about the ticket which was not delivered to their london office by special delivery, will this be picked up monday?
I phone them up and they said they will get back to me within 72 hours but it is quite worrying as the event is only a few days away. I fear that if these new tickets are the only valid ones I will be stuck with them.
Please let me know your thoughts

I think the only way you're going to find out about the 2nd set of tickets is to speak with Ticketmaster. It's a shame you don't still have the old ones as they each have a number and barcode on them so if they are duplicates then only one set can be used. I'm not sure if they have the facility to cancel tickets, because if they are duplicates then they will have the same numbers on them and if they cancel the one set then all will be cancelled. As far as I remember from my days selling concert tickets, only a certain number of tickets are allocated to each event so if the tickets you received aren't duplicates then the only other explanation I can think is that they've sent you someone else's tickets, but the name of the person who bought the tickets is usually printed on them.
As for the delivery failure, perhaps Ticketmaster's offices aren't open on a Saturday or if they are maybe they were closed by the time the ticket was attempted for delivery? They should pick it up on Monday, but should doesn't mean they will. Trying to guess human behaviour. I think the only thing you can do is to keep trying to get in touch with them - have you tried contacting them on Twitter? Might be worth a go.
The other thing is that they have the facility to have the person who bought the last ticket put on a list or have it kept on the door or at the box office so that they can still gain entry even if they don't manage to get the ticket to the buyer before the concert. So I don't think there's too much to worry about, but I would double check with them to put your mind at ease. Either way, you've done what was asked of you and so can't be held responsible for whatever may happen.
I hope that helps somewhat.0
