I’m looking advice. My BT contract is coming to an end and I am happy with their service over the last 18 months. But I’m checking to see what’s available.
I have BR landline and they contacted me about a month back saying they were cutting my phone bill to £25 a month as I’m a low user
I live alone and the most that will be running at any point in time will be Netflix and my computer which is only used for browsing and email. No heavy usage
Given the above what do I actually need. All the sights I’ve visited so far are pushing Fibre, do I really need it? Is ‘ordinary’ brand and still available? Any ideas on best supplier?
Thanks for any advice you can offer
Kevin

Presumably you mean "BT landline".I have BR landline and they contacted me about a month back saying they were cutting my phone bill to £25 a month as I’m a low user
Does the £25 per month include broadband? Or is it only for landline but with a calls package? I ask because BT standard line rental (with weekend calls) is £20 per month.0 -
Define Best Supplier .
Better usually means not cheap .0 -

would effectively cost £12.33 per month and Plusnet is owned by BT. You can still use your BT HomeHub with Plusnet too.0 -
For standard 10MB broadband + line rental, I'd be expecting below £15/month. On a special deal sub £10, although it may involve claiming vouchers back + line rental saver plans. I wouldn't pay +£20.0

Sorry, should have said £200
