Now Broadband Cashback

Thinking of getting Now Broadband. TCB has£90 cashback, but terms say:
Get totally unlimited and reliable broadband without a contract. Choose the broadband package that suits your needs and our hassle free switching means you’ll be up and running in now time. Cashback is only available to those who have never had an active account with NOW TV(my highlighting).
So, it sounds like it won't apply if you have ever had a Now tv account.
Anyone got this cashback who has had a now tv account but not Now broadband before?
Can I just use a different name and email address (my wife's)?
Thanks

it does state completely new customers only, so even though i have only had a 1 month cinema pass, i am excluded.0

That's a pretty rubbish term. I can't stand these companies that only offer deals to "new customers". If you've never had BB with Now TV you should qualify for it and even if you have, why not offer it to people to come back? You could try clarifying with them though as they may still offer you the deal if they really want you to sign up.0

Joined NOWbb in dec 2018 for a 12mth contract with all calls inclusive. Less than 5months later they are changing the contact to their benefit and adding in calls charges at 23p connection and at least 16p per min. YET a new customer can get the original 12mth contract I signed to in dec.
They are going to graciously wave the early exit charge. As far as I see these early exit fees are null and void as they have changed the contract and therefore the early exit fees are part of a contract that does not exist anymore. The operator I spoke to didn't see the despicable nature of a business practice that was reneging on a contract less than 40% into that contract, whilst at the same time as the defaulting on the contract this company is offering the exact same contact to new customers for a 12mth duration?!?!?
NOWbb seems to operate in a manner that feels like sharp practices.
They also do not do Direct Debit payment but insist on Continuous Card payment. Thus giving THEM control and could leave customers open to any future sharp practices this shoddy company might wish to conjure up.
Companies who default on their contracts should be liable to customers receiving damages not simple being offered the exemption of exit fees that in law ceased to exist when the default was enacted by the company.main stream media is a propaganda machine for the establishment.0 -

Strange, my email says:-We hope you continue to use and enjoy NOW Broadband & Calls. But if you’re not happy with these changes, you can cancel your NOW Broadband & Calls by calling 03303 323 050. If you’re within your minimum contract period, call us within 30 days of getting this communication to avoid early termination charges. Unless you tell us otherwise, your NOW Broadband & Calls subscription will continue as usual.
It's almost looks like you're just making your own version up to support your little rant.0 -
but if like most people you don't use your land line it's not a big deal.
I just looked on uswitch to see if there was a better deal, but nothing can beat the £20/month I am paying nowtv (unlike a few months ago)
For a mad second I was thinking of going back to virginM, but I then came out in a cold sweat.0 -
sorry only just saw this, i was signing up through top cashback and asked them what was classed as a new customer, and that i had taken advantage of their one month cinema pass for half price offer, and was told by them that i would not be classed as a new customer then.
of course, now tv may say different.0
