No promises (I hate printers!)...May be worth confirming the instructions yourself before running. e.g. there may be a "reset network configuration" menu command which is all you really want to do...

    1. Turn off your printer for a start (however, the printer power plug must remain connected to a power switch)

    2. Now press the Power / Power button while holding down the Stop button.

    3. Remove the finger from the Stop button, but hold down the Power button.

    4. While still holding down the power button, press the Stop button twice.

    5. After approx. 30 seconds the printer display will show 0.

    6. Now press the Stop button 4 times before pressing the On button twice.

    7. Finally, press the Power button once to turn off and complete the Canon Pixma MG 5350 reset.

This is why I give my printers static IP addresses. Saves all this nonsense.

Thanks everyone. Just in after a day out. Will try again tomorrow. I can see us buying a new printer. I’ve spent ages trying to make them talk to each other. Like a bunch of recalcitrant teens!

Tell us what is your new router, and then look at the printer properties on your Win 7 machine and find out what the old IP address was. Then we should be able to tell you how to set the IP address on the printer so that it is as it was (bad grammar ?)

We have a wireless printer, all lights on that should be on are on.

I have repeatedly tried to print from all devices with no luck. Tried many times pressing the WPS button to no avail. On laptop says it’s printing then nothing happens.

It seems as if they all talk to the router but not each other.

In some routers, I've seen a "wireless isolation" setting that ensures that wireless devices have internet access, but cannot "see" each other.

Some routers allow you to set up a "guest" wireless network, which does the same thing.

I'd have a look at the router settings. Maybe "wireless isolation" is enabled or you're connecting to the "guest" network...?

I have a Canon TS 1651 and have all devices connected to the printer Direct. (Not via the router, straight to the printer) This desktop, wife's laptop, 2 android phones, android tablet. I suggest you download Guide and Manual for your printer and your Windows version from here:

    https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mg_series/pixma_mg5350.html?type=drivers&language=&os=windows%207%20(64-bit)

Look for Setup instructions and follow for Direct Printing. I found it to be a doddle setting up all devices to print direct from each device to the printer. Our laptop and desktop are in different rooms, desktop is Ethernet wired, laptop and other devices are Wireless.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

Thanks everyone. The problem solved itself in that the printer has gone back to my son, who it belongs to, and I’ve ordered a new one.

everyone has been so amazingly helpful, as is usual in these forums.
