Any reason why the Virgin Double Take E-ISA, paying 1.45%, is not showing on any [best ISA] searches, other than for Virgin Products? is it sound and good for 1 year? Any issues I should be aware of for this cash isa?

See the link below. Perhaps the lists you have been looking at choose to emphasise others as they are easy access with no restrictions. No catches except he obvious 2 withdrawals plus closure. It works on a calendar year not tax year or elapsed year

You can get as good elsewhere with unlimited withdrawals. Not sure why you'd want to go for that unless you live near a branch and want to pay cash in and know withdrawals will be rare.
If you bank with Santander they can beat it at 1.5%If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
Worth noting that Virgin have two ISAs with the same rate - the Double Take and the Man Utd Double Take. The Man Utd one gives you chances to win some Manchester United stuff, which makes it slightly better than the regular Double Take even if you don't care about football.
Also there are same-day transfers to easy-access ISA accounts, so you can do some cunning things using that to get more withdrawals (eg transfer big lump from DT to easy-ISA, then multiple withdrawals from easy-ISA). Their easy-access ISAs are flexible, so this is a useful way to get ISA flexibility (the recent withdrawn Coventry account was flexible, but the Santander one isn't). If you have both DT and Man Utd DT, you can use these to get 4 withdrawals per year across the two accounts without losing any interest (the easy-ISA is a lower rate)0 -
I did consider this Virgin ISA but decided that Tesco at 1.44% was better for the flexible terms.0
