Parts of Quinton are alright if you avoid student land. And it's handy for the hospital.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I think it's supposed to mean that lots of people enquire about the road and demand exceeds supply. In reality it's just estate agent BS, my cul de sac is "sought after" apparently"Popular" neighbourhood? I've always wondered about that phrase.
"Popular" presumably means that lots of people want to live there. But how do estate agents measure that? Is it because "lots of people buy houses here". But if lots of people are buying, that means lots of people are selling. So it clearly means that although its looks good from the outside, anyone who actually lives there wants to get out!0 -

For anyone interested, the estate agent link - https://www.shipways.co.uk/houses-for-sale/property-details/HBN107215
On paper, doesn't look to be a particularly good neighbourhood... of the 138 houses in the postcode area, 91 are rented (80 from the council). Half the residents are classed as "low skilled or on benefits". Also predominately poor educational achievers, 44 with 1-4 GCSEs, and 92 with no GCSEs out of 224 people. Moderate levels of crime with 52 reports for January.
On the plus side, plenty of green space close by, and only a short distance from the M5 - Still not an area I would want to live.
Ironically, it's near to one of the best state schools in the country. It just so happens it's selective, so the local kids don't stand much of a chance of getting in.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We bought a house just like that!
It was supposed to be emptied on completion. It wasn't. It cost us £5k in skips just to remove the hoarded stuff (and the flattened dead rats), before we started ripping it out.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

On the contrary, a popular neighborhood is one where there are far more buyers than sellers - this is measured by potentially interest/viewers/offers per sale of houses. I know some areas (especially family/school areas), a house can receive well over 10-20 offers from being listed for a single day.0 -
