We got our aip yesterday with pepper. It only took about 6 hours to be accepted from initial submission. Our full application has been submitted today. No idea how long it's going to take... We have had a bit of a nightmare with mortgages and brokers so fingers crossed! Would be interested to hear of anyone who has recently used pepper.

They are similar to how they have always been. However following the corona virus outbreak they have tightened up on:
    - Self employed applicants,
    - Bonuses/Commission are no longer accepted,
    - If you are on furlough they will not accept you.
Everything else is as like it always has been in my experience.
That’s completely fair enough & understandable.
I haven’t been on furlough anyway so don’t think I’ll have a problem.

Not seen much posts for a while on here from anyone that has recent dealings with Pepper uk.

I’ll see now I get on near the end of the year.

    Thanks for you’re help.

I currently have an application going threw with Pepper. I got my AIP this week and my broker should be submitting my application Tuesday I think!  Hoping it goes smoothly
Any news on your application? I've just applied

Day 20...and still going... They are now asking for something linked to the new build guarantee that we won't get until after it's built! Any further progress on yours?
  • *****long post alert 🚨 *****
So on 29th Feb 2020 we reserved a lovely new build after speaking to MA who assured us we wouldn’t have any trouble obtaining a mortgage. Our mortgage application was going well with Kensington then came along COVID so everything stood still, no response from anyone and even out MA was furloughed!!
Then in June we were told we had been unsuccessful, so the lady from the development suggested we find a better MA and go through a company called Bluestone. Again everything was going well but then in September we were told we needed a new lot of pay slips with my new higher salary. Unfortunately the developer wasn’t willing to wait any longer however we were allowed to reserve a newer, bigger (more expensive) house. Roll on to the 1st January and we are now submitting a new application but this time it is with Pepper Money!!
To say I’m exhausted is an understatement 😂
I don’t know why my MA has changed mortgage lenders but here we are.
I’m with my advisors pre-underwriting team and have submitted everything except out 3 years mortage payments - I have requested these today.
Anyway as I have looked for reviews I can’t find any recent ones so was looking for recent experiences with Pepper
