    Hi All
I have got into a bit of a pickle I have just moved house and paid Royal Mail to redirected my post to my new address. Unfortunately one or two letters got missed One of them was my N180 Directions Questionnaire. It was delivered to my old address and the new occupants regrettably didn't notice where the letter was from and didn't inform me that there was mail for me for some time. When they contacted me to tell me I was on holiday abroad for 10 days so by the time I picked the letter up I had missed the return date by a long time. It was due back the 15th May.
Please can someone advise my best course of action. I have tried searching the forum but nothing coming up.
    Many Thanks in advance x
Complete your DQ immediately following the guidelines offered by Bargepole offered in his 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread. You will find the answers to all the questions there.

When complete, return your DQ by email to the CCBC in the same manner and to the same email address that you sent your Defence.

Remember to send a copy to the Claimant.

Do that this weekend - urgently.
  • Thank you KeithP
I will do it straight away.
Should I advise the Court of my new address on the same email please?
    Many Thanks x

Yes, and copy in the Claimant's solicitor and ask both the court and the Claimant to rectify the address data they hold for you to show your current address for service, and to erase the old address completely, as is your right under the GDPR.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi All
I have just recieved a letter from the Court telling me I have missed the deadline for my DQ which I knew I had.
It is my understanding that they are giving me another chance to submit it, is this correct please?
I will upload a Copy of the letter.
    Many Thanks x

So what happened after you told us on 25th May that you would send your DQ "straight away"?

It was explicitly spelt out to you exactly how to file your DQ?

Are people wasting their time offering you advice?

How on earth are you expecting anyone to know if they are "offering you another chance"? You haven't told us what the letter says.

Send you completed DQ straight away now - as instructed in post #22 above - whatever the latest letter says.
  • Hi Keith
I didn't explain properly. I did exactly as I was advised on here and emailed all the forms to the Court using the same address as I sent my Defence to, I got a reply to say they had recieved it. But this is what I recieved.
I am in the process of trying to upload a pic of the letter.

    Many Thanks

I would do what the letter says and file my DQ again by e-mail to the address they supply but I would also attach a copy of the e-mail or letter or screenshot that proves they told you they had received it.
