So...if we crash out i’m guessing that the compensation due under EU rules won’t be anymore?
Does anybody understand this better then me?
Flight was cancelled last summer, after months of the EU based airline fobbing us off I finally put the complaint in to the adjudicator a few weeks ago. I’ve heard nothing at all.
Are they ignoring our claim because if we leave with no deal we won’t be entitled anymore?

When you say EU-based airline I assume you mean non-UK EU-based airline? EU261 applies to everyone travelling on an EU carrier. Whether tbe UK is or isn't in the EU has no bearing on this.0

Hi,
No, my understanding is that the EU261 regulations will be adopted into UK law.
Which adjudicator are you using? Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -

I do, its EU but not UK.
So would the compensation still be due if I was American or Australian or Japanese? That’s good to know!
Thanks, just need them to bother responding now!0 -
