Does bashing the f11 key on start up get you into repair mode? I think hp machines have an option to reinstall windows whilst keeping your files.

Hi, Yes I have done this and it takes me to same options as my USB start up disc.
Resetting via this option appears to be working. No idea why?

    Many, many, many thanks

Use the Rescue Media Wizard to create a bootable USB stick or CD/DVD. Then put this into the the failing machine and tell it to boot from it - you may need to change the boot order, or press a key as the machine starts up so you are presented with the boot selection menu.

I already have a bootable USB stick :T

If you have created one with Macrium Reflect already, go ahead and use it to backup your PC before reinstalling Windows.
