My daughter is 17 and had similar thoughts about Macdonalds staff, until that is she started working in a similar role at a local cafe, 8 hours a day on her feet, been polite and freindly all the time, she soon realised that essentially they do the same job, and its damm hard work.

Everyone must start somewere, and it does no harm for those already at the top to experiance life on the shop floor again from time to time, makes you a more grounded person all round.

PPR'd. Wonder when the next iteration of Sam will pop up...

    I'm going for 4 months.

Seriously though, I do have sympathy for him like but this thread has been done a few times now and there's no capacity to actually take on advice given. Personally, I'd like Sam to come back on here but actually not talk about jobs or anything related to jobs!

TBF, this time he did learn to keep his frustrations under control and didn't lash out

So maybe his posting, and us taking the time with him is actually helping, slowly but surely

I'd rather he talked about jobs than inability to get a girlfriend

Unless I missed something, he was being sensible and not losing his temper this time though. In which case it's a shame he was PPRd again.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    A total shame

If he can learn via here how to hold a conversation , surely that's going to help him moving forward?

I think sometimes that we all forget how we can make an impression on people we haven't met via the internet
