Gemmzie - i have seen the issues with the other 'make £3000 in 6 months thread'
The spirit of the board is teamwork - the more members of a challenge the more support we can offer each other!
So please please start the new Olympic challenge thread - i'm sure everyone will join in and appreciate you efforts.0 -
Well, I failed
But I did make over £400 so I suppose at least that' something. Gotta admit though, I rely didn't try very hard and gave a load of stuff away on freecycle instead of ebaying it, just because of lack of time (and inclination, if I'm honest!)
WOuld defiitely like to sign up to a new challenge in Janunary, and try and make a concerted effort! The buddy system sounds like a good idea - ideally I'd love to match up with someone who can help me with matched betting! I can help with mystery shopping, pigsback or quidco if anyone wants to buddy up with me?
Well done everyone - Merry Christmas!! :beer:GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Well I've got my head around matched betting, I think. I do ok with pigsback and quidco. I'd like to try mystery shopping, but having a full time shop and living in a rural area I'm not sure its possible.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
Ruthiejane, there's bee a lot of telephone call 'shops' on the go lately, it'd be worth you signing up for those alone. And if there's big town within reasonable distance, maybe you could sign up for a few in one day and make a day out of it?

Spendaholic Chick, I didn't know about telephone mystery shopping. That would be great! I'd love to know more, but I'll wait until the New Year now. Would you be willing to help me out with where to start if I work through matched betting with you?ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

well I decided to extend my challenge to include this weekend so that I could do 3 car boot sales. There is one down the road on a Friday night for a couple of hours - but found out that it finished 2 weeks ago  so we got up early this morning to do one, loaded up the car, made packed lunches - arrived at 11am to be told that they do not run the Saturday one in winter  sooooooo tomorrow is my last try - at least the car is loaded up and ready to go but the packed lunch has gone:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

Thanks for this challenge Gemmzie :T :T
Well I sort of fell off the wagon a bit towards the end and completely lost count but I think I've made around £800ish from what I can work out. Whatever it is it is a whole lot more than I thought I could possibly manage
Thank-you!! :j :jMortgage free as of 12/08/20!
