Decided to open my change jar today, as I am extremely busy in the coming week!
the total in my change jar was £9.75 bringing me to £297.40if only I could make £2.60 in the next 5 days I would be able to round it nicely to £300!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
Am dead chuffed - my ebay sales last week totalled £173! So, coupled with my additional £60 cashback on my Morgan Stanley card and my Tesco clubcard vouchers £43, this brings my total up to £820!!!:j
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I've got myself back into gear and sold some of my shower gel stash Tescos paid me to take away earlier this year to someone through the small ads where I work. I got £4 for 12 bottles all to the same person which I'm pleased with as I needed the space.
Then hopefully selling something else tomorrow, maybe 2 things and will list some other things tonight - much easier than ebay.
I've also got £15 in Sainsburys vouchers for a complaint I made there so when I use them to get some shopping tomorrow I'll add them in too.
Looks like I'll make it to £500 by the end of the week.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Had a great day with sales today, £1.50 for an old stand you use when typing things up, £5 for an embroidery stand I got years ago and could never get on with and £15 for 6 teddy bears (some were semi collectable ones) all through small ads at work.
Then £3.04 interest
So my current total is £516.70 but I forgot to take the vouchers to Sainsburys - grr!
It's unlikely to go up before Friday but I'm so pleased I made it over £500Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

This is great! I'm up at around £605, which is much more than the first challenge. Still haven't got to grips with quidco or topcashback, still have a lot of CDs to sell, still need to get my head around bonus bagging, matched betting and the spreadbetting I go on about in my diary, so there's lots of wiggle room for the next challenge - which is good, because this one was really buoyed up by ss's thing, and a couple of fantastic mystery shops that got me £80. But I'll do my full analysis of what the exact total of this one is, and where it came from, on Thursday evening. Well done all of us!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Just had an idea for the buddy system on the next challenge. How about everyone that would like to take part mentions a few things they have successfully done to make money and a few things they would like to try on the next challenge.
For example I've done ok out of selling books, and selling on ebay and matched betting, but would like to try mystery shopping.
We could then choose buddys who can help with the things we would like to try, and hopefully help them with the things we already feel confident about.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
