You criticise what you call conjecture in other posts, but you might be doing the same yourself. Why are you so convinced that commercial users of these services won't get more up to date search results than the stripped down free marketing version you see?
  • It depends on the data the lender actually updates the CRA.

You’re reading way too much into this.

No one is reporting “incorrect” data.

And if you’re not looking to apply for a mortgage anytime soon then you’re wasting time posting all of this.

Nope. they are the full-blown version. If you are familiar with credit reports you will see that. See screenprint on post #37.

Can you point us to your source that says there are two versions. A free marketing one and a full-blown one. Unless you mean the reports provided by Clearscore, Giffgaff, MSE credit club and the like (which are even less up to date than the CRA reports).

It does look like current balance isn't something thats updated often.

We could say £2030 was 'incorrect' as opposed to the correct figure of £2033, but I guess you would call that splitting hairs (even in a forum like this where we talk pennies);)

It's good to warn others through, isn't it. I'm pretty selfless like that.:A

When I applied for a mortgage I made sure all my card balances showed 0. I didn’t use my cards from two months before. I think it helped app was approved very quickly and not a single quality from an underwriter.
