Can't set up SIM lock (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge)

I got my shiny new Vodafone SIM earlier this week (thanks, MSE!) and my number ported over yesterday. I tried to set up a SIM lock, but the options to do so (Lock SIM card and Change SIM card PIN) are greyed out. Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to use the settings? Phone is running Android Oreo if that makes any difference.

Do you see the setting to 'enable' or 'require' SIM PIN to be used? If you switch it on maybe you can then set the PIN.
Just guessing as I don't have Samsung...Evolution, not revolution0
